"An Innocent Abroad"

It is said that real life stories are stranger than fiction because some real life stories are so bizarre that even the wildest Tale-Teller wouldn't dream of writing them down as fiction.  The following true story is an example of exactly that.  I obtained a copy of the memo from a former co-worker of the unfortunate Mr. P. (I removed his full name for the sake of privacy).
